One Alert Down...

We survived Matt's first alert quite well I would say. Bailey stopped sneezing Thursday night and only puked once during Matt's absence. Henry didn't wake up once all three nights despite cutting (his first!) two teeth at once. Henry and I celebrated his 4 month birthday on Saturday by wandering around Target, which was apparently the whole town's idea of a good time!

Matt says Henry really improved his jumping technique while he was gone and was surprised to see that his teeth had broken through. Bailey barely flinched when Matt came home today which was shocking - he's usually a giant wailing mess when Matt walks in the door. Henry frowned at Matt for a second and then gave him a big smile.

We ran errands at the BX and Commissary this afternoon now that Matt knows what he needs down in the "hole." The Commissary is always closed on Monday for restocking (which is a ridiculous excuse seeing as the building is quite small and I always see people stocking shelves on the days its open), and since tomorrow is Veterans' Day, it will be closed on Tuesday also. Matt heads back out on Wednesday, so today was obviously the only option.

I am loving your blog! I haven't even figured out how to post video yet! (Well, that and we don't have a digital video camera, LOL) But I like seeing what others can do. I am still so impressed with all your knitting projects. You guys are the perfect people to be in Minot with a little baby, because you will be be able to keep him warm with all the cute things you can make!

Grace got her first tooth at 5 months, but Anna and Caleb were both a little earlier than that. Caleb got nippy though while nursing, and he drew blood several times. Anna was never a biter, thank the Lord!

Our commissary doesn't close anymore on Mondays (and I thought the WP one didn't either?). I guess I had just thought it was a system-wide thing that they did away with, but actually now I am remembering that the USAFA one was closed Monday when we were there in February. So obviously it is just the tiny ones that still close, LOL. How crazy! : )
