WINTER

(Can you guess where we were on my 30th birthday this year?)

I have somehow managed to not find anything to buy with my birthday money since May! Shocking, I know. I tried hard, let me tell you, haha. I bought a beautiful purse at Nordy's when I was home in VA with the boys in June. But I took it back because really, who am I kidding thinking I'll use it much when it'll just end up with cracker crumbs and leaky sippy cups staining it. I also tried to use my money on a cool pair of blue flats that had rosettes made of zippers on the toes. As hard as I tried though, they just didn't feel comfortable enough, so back they went!

Well thank goodness I had such trouble, haha, because now that Matt has his super nice computer (for his birthday), I figured it was high time for us to have a really nice camera in this house. Being the granddaughter of the owner of Rudy's Camera in Witchita, KS, I figured I needed to catch up with the rest of the family! Since my dad was visiting over Thanksgiving, I asked him to find one that'd be good for us, and a week later, BAM! Hellooooo pretty camera :-)

So now I have no excuse not to keep this blog going, haha.

In honor of our fourth and (PLEEAASSSSSE!!!!) last winter here, I give you my list of How Cold Is It? from our first winter. Nothing's changed, lol.

Sooo...what camera did you get? Did you take the pics of Wally and Bailey with it? 'Cause those are great pics!

Thanks! My dad took those, and I think he has a Nikon D7000. I got a Nikon D3100.
