watching Avery play in his old favorite, the Jumperoo!!We celebrated Christmas in Virginia on December 6, since Matt's time stationed in Maryland was going to end before December 25th. Liz, Brent and Avery came up for the weekend and we had a great time watching Henry and Avery interacting. Henry was finally warming up to her and it was cute watching him share his toys and hand her his sippy cup (and then wanting it all back!). Aunt Pam and Uncle Don came over too with sweet potatoes and ham, yum! Henry loved those sweet potatoes and Liz's homemade mac and cheese. Here are some pictures from the day:
The Sunday following Thanksgiving, we were able to dedicate Henry at the Williamsburg Community Chapel where I grew up. There was one other family dedicating their 18 month old daughter, and it was neat to both have older babies. Also, the father of the little girl had grown up in this church too, so the children were both second generation Chapel kids. When the pastor tried to hold Henry while we were up on stage, Henry threw his hands back and looked super scared. Impressively, he didn't cry! By the time the pastor was done praying, Henry was fine. This picture was taken after we came home:
