These past few weeks, we've been battling some frustrations in the Air Force and with a local business. Finally things are calming down so here are some pictures from the past week. Henry turned 8 months yesterday. Time sure flies!

"Skype-ing" with Grandma R, Aunt Pam and Uncle Don. Henry is a very cautious baby. He doesn't like toys that make loud noises, and ever since he started sitting up on his own, we have
never seen him fall back and hit his head. If he does start to fall back, he throws his arms behind him and braces himself, and then will either slowly lower himself down or wait for someone to sit him back up.

Bailey!

This picture is monumental. The temperature reached 55 degrees yesterday!! There was still lots of snow on the ground, but a significant amount melted and thankfully did not refreeze last night. It felt so great to take a walk!! Henry loved watching Bailey walk next to the stroller.

Henry shows so many signs of being a future engineer like his daddy and both grandpas. He studies small details so intensely. The above picture is an example of his budding engineering skills. He rolled over to Matt's shoe and somehow managed to completely untie the
double knot. We didn't see him do it, even though he was at it a long time!

Love the new pics! Thanks for the blog update. I can't believe it hit 55 degrees for you guys yesterday.. time to break out the bathing suits!
Hey, you guys didn't freeze after all! : ) Glad to see you around. So, were the problems with that bizarre restaurant you posted about awhile back?
No actually, the problem was with a local eye doctor who would not give me a refund for the glasses he fitted me with that I couldn't see through. After 5 weeks of talking with them and letting them try to improve them (they were just randomly trying things), it ended with the doctor accusing me of lying that I couldn't see. He's convinced that I was out to get him somehow. My receipt never said my purchase was nonrefundable, nor was his "non refund" policy displayed anywhere in the store. We never received most of our money back, but we managed to get an expensive pair of sunglasses in exchange for some of it. The place is run by crooks and we reported them to the BBB. We thought about taking legal action, but obviously it wasn't worth going on Judge Judy for it!
Wow! What a nightmare! Glad to see things are warming up a bit!
Whew I was going through blog withdrawl-that's not Henry-that's a bigger baby with a lot more hair that you picked up at Target!
