Henry's "First" First Christmas

Since Matt is unable to fly to Virginia for Christmas with Henry and me, we celebrated H's first Christmas today while Matt was home. I had it so set in my head that today would be Christmas that I started actually believing it. I found myself surprised when Matt received an early morning phone call ("who would be calling us this early on Christmas?!"). I even reminded Matt that our friends' son would be turning 1 tomorrow since he was born the day after Christmas, lol. My poor brain is so easily tricked these days.

Henry wasn't a big fan of the sound of ripping wrapping paper, go figure. He enjoyed watching all the action though. He loves his new Ocean Wonders Aquarium toy courtesy of a sale on Amazon. In the afternoon, he and I watched (through the window) Matt shovel the snow since we had a white Christmas! It was in the 20's today so we took a picture outside in the heatwave.  We invited our neighbor over for dinner since her husband was out on alert, so that was lots of fun.

LOL!! Well, see, that is what happens to your brain after pregnancy, the whole confusion thing. At least that is what I tell people happened to mine! : )
